Unique Technology For Thin Metal Machining

There are about 11 processes for chemical etching, it is much complicated compared to CNC or stamping.

Design the mask film according to customer's drawings, a film is a unique tooling for the exposure process, it effects a lot on the accuracy of the product.

Ordering the specific material for production, inspect and test it while it is back in warehouse

Cutting
Fixed size of sheet material is specified on the mask film, cutting the material into specified sheet size is needed, such A4 sheet size

Cleaning
We also name cleaning process as pre-treatment process, dust/rust/oils are covering on raw material surface, they must be removed and cleaned up, otherwise defects will occur on next process-coating/laminating

Coating&Laminating
Wet film(liquid coating) or dry film(thin film laminating), both of them are using UV sensitive but chemical resist material to adhere on both sides of the sheet metal;
This process has to proceed in cleaning and UV-light-free room

Exposing
The mask films generated on the 1st step, together with the coated/laminated sheets, will be proceeded to finish the exposing process: inserting sheet metal between films, place them in UV lighting exposing machine, then the drawings on the film are transferred to the sheet metal

UV sensitive coating areas which are not exposed to UV light, they will be eroded away by chemicals, remaining the product area protected with chemical resist coating

The long etching lines are full with high pressure spay head on both up and down side, sheet metals moved between the spay head, metals expose to chemical etchant will be eroded, product areas protected by chemical resist coating remained

Stripping
After chemical etching, we no longer need the coating applying on the products any more, so we use different chemicals to strip off it, clean and dry the products

Quality Control
Final inspection will be finished before packing and shipping, including dimension measuring and visual inspecting

The last step of the process, parts are packed referring to specific packing instruction, then ship
